My First GB Blog Post
Hey guys! My name is Peyton Osborn and I am a freshman at Faulkner University. I’m going to take a moment (and this blog) to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Foley, Alabama, however, whenever I travel, I’ve developed the habit of telling others that I’m from Gulf Shores, Alabama, which is a town directly south of Foley. The main reason for this is simple: my church. I grew up attending the Gulf Shores Church of Christ on most Sundays, but my life didn’t really experience any serious impacts from it until around seventh grade when a friend I made invited me to a youth group snack night. Long story short, I got very involved with the family I came into contact with there and it changed my life forever. I learned deep, important truths about the world, life, and the One who had made it all. I grew through my teenage years, and my faith grew right along with me.
